Babbo's Books Launches September Film Series
Watch movies among the stacks at your favorite local bookstore.
Babbo's Books isn't just a bookstore—this September, it's also a makeshift movie house, with several film screenings to be held in the Prospect Park West store's cozy quarters.
Films will be shown on three Thursdays and one Friday throughout the month, all starting at 8:30 p.m. Viewers are invited to bring the beverage of their choice (alchoholic or otherwise), and participate in what will surely be a rousing round of movie trivia. A $5 donation is suggested.

September 20th - Sidney Poitier & Tony Curtis in "The Defiant Ones"
September 27th - Susan Sarandon & Geena Davis in "Thelma & Louise"
Bonus silly movie on Friday, September 28th: Eric Idle & Robbie Coltrane in "Nuns on the Run"
