'Boardwalk Empire' Returns to Kensington Thursday

Several neighborhood streets will be used for filming the popular HBO show.

The good folks at HBO's 'Boardwalk Empire' are asking Kensington residents to move their cars from several streets by 10 p.m. Wednesday, to make way for an all-day shoot on Thursday. 

If your car is parked in the following locations, move it or prepare to collect it from the ol' impound lot.

  • Church Avenue, between Ocean Parkway and and E. 3rd Street (both sides)
  • E. 5th Street, between Church Avenue and Albemarle Road (both sides)
  • Albemarle Road, between E. 5th Street and Ocean Parkway (south side only)
