Update: Boy Hospitalized After Getting Hit by Car in Kensington
The 12-year-old was transported to Lutheran Medical Center with a broken leg.
A 12-year-old boy was hospitalized with a broken leg on Tuesday evening after a car hit him while he was riding his bicycle in Kensington.
According to police in the 66th Precinct, the driver was heading northbound on East 3rd Street near Cortelyou Road around 6 p.m. when he hit the child.
The boy was transported to Lutheran Medical Center with a broken right leg. The driver was uninjured.
