Cars Won't be Towed During 'Delivery Man' Shoot

Resident's cars are not at risk during the filming of Vince Vaughn's latest feature.

She may have crippled transit, flooded homes and ruined lives, but Hurricane Sandy is no match for the film schedule of "Delivery Man," set to shoot in Windsor Terrace on Friday, Saturday and Monday.

But despite signs that say otherwise, a representative from the film's Locations Department told Patch that residents need not worry about moving their cars for the shoot, as filming has been moved indoors.

"We haven't had the manpower to send someone out to change the signs," the representative said, adding that she's been receiving calls from concerned residents from Vanderbilt Street to Prospect Park Southwest throughout the morning.

The crew will, however, likely be back toward the end of the month to resume outdoor filming.

Bonus: As a gesture toward the community, 533 Kids Productions is looking for a licensed contractor to clean up the damage left by the storm in Windsor Terrace. Anyone interested can contact the Locations Department at (646) 513-2360.

The movie, according to signs hung around the site, is centered on "a middle-aged man whose life is turned upside down when he learns he has fathered 533 children through sperm donation." It will star Vince Vaughn, Ben Bailey, Cobie Smulders, Britt Robertson and Chris Pratt.

If this sounds familiar, it's because the same film was also shooting around town last week, and spent several days shooting in Brooklyn Heights before that.
