Cooking, Shmooking: Where to Buy Thanksgiving Dinner
Your house is flooded and the power just came back on. You don't want to cook. These local eateries will do it for you.

Between the flooding, the black-outs, the hours-long lines for gas, the hours-long lines to vote, and oh yeah, the snow, it's possible that you forgot about another thing it's time to start worrying about: Thanksgiving.Â
But don't panic. You still have time, and we have a few options for those who suddenly find themselves saddled with the responsibility of cooking. Assuming, of course, that you make it out of that gas line in time.Â
Fort Greene's Prospect is hosting a pre-Thanksgiving cooking class, structured to guide first timers and veteran turkey-carvers alike through the perilous task of feeding a group of grousing family members.Â

Executive Chef Kyle McClelland will instruct participants on how to brine and cook a turkey, as well as create the following gourmet specialties suitable for even the most discerning of Brooklyn palates: foie gras stuffing, fresh cranbery sauce, roasted squash, green bean casserole, roasted Brussels sprouts and a specialty called "green candy."Â
The class will take place on Monday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. and is open to 14 people.Â
