CVS Guard Forced Brooklyn Teens To Pose For Naked Photos, DA Says
Jose Ramos took nude photographs of girls he suspected of shoplifting then made them promise not to call cops, prosecutors said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A security guard forced three teenaged girls to pose naked for him after he accused them of shoplifting at a CVS, then made them sign forms promising not to call police, prosecutors said.
Jose Ramos, 30, was sentenced to four years in prison in Brooklyn Criminal Court Tuesday, after he pleaded guilty to using a child in a sexual performance in April, prosecutors said.
“This defendant abused his authority as a security guard to intimidate, terrorize, and violate the young victims,” said Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez. “With today’s sentence, he has been held accountable for his abhorrent and predatory behavior.”

Ramos accused his first victims, two 16-year-old girls, of shoplifting from a CVS at 6817 Bay Parkway on Nov. 23, 2016, prosecutors said.
The CVS guard told the girls he wouldn’t call police if they agreed to take nude photos of themselves with his cellphone, said prosecutors.

The girls did as he asked, then Ramos made them sign a non-disclosure agreement promising not to report him to police before he let them go, prosecutors said.
Ramos tried the same tactic three months later, when he cornered a 15-year-old girl at the same CVS on Feb. 5 at about 4 p.m., prosecutors said.
He led the girl to the bathroom, took photos of her, groped her, then shoved a non-disclosure agreement into her hand for her to sign, prosecutors said.
The security guard’s most recent victim was a 28-year-old woman he accused of stealing from a CVS at 411 Ditmas Ave. on March 15 at about 7 p.m., said prosecutors.
Again, Ramos led his victim to the bathroom, told her to take of her pants, photographed and groped her, prosecutors said.
The 28-year-old also signed a non-disclosure agreement, but she did not feel compelled to honor it — Ramos was arrested on April 24 after the woman called police and an investigation was launched, prosecutors said.
