Members of the Amateur Astronomy Association will bring their high-powered telescopes to Dome Playground and help area residents see the night sky in a way not possible with the naked eye. Mars, Venus and Jupiter will all be ascendant, so bundle up and head out to the park for some astronomical fun.
The even will be cancelled in the event of rain or heavy cloud cover, so be sure to check www.aaa.org on the day of the event.
