F Train Hits Person In Brooklyn Station, MTA Says
A man was fatally hit by an F train in the Avenue I station Thursday morning, according to officials and reports.
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A man was fatally hit by a Brooklyn F train Thursday morning, according to officials and reports. The straphanger was struck at the Avenue I station near McDonald Avenue shortly after 7 a.m., according to the MTA.
The man was pronounced dead at the station, amNY reported.
Northbound F trains temporarily ran express between Kings Highway and Smith-Ninth Street and some southbound F trains made their final stops at Church Avenue so that police could investigate, said the MTA.

Normal service had resumed by 9:30 a.m. but riders were warned to expect delays on the D, F and G lines and responses to their social media complaints.
