F Train Pickpocket Targets Sleepy Brooklyn Riders, Police Say
Police are looking for the pickpocket who donned a rose-covered outfit then robbed two men in Brooklyn F train stations.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A pickpocket has been targeting sleepy F train riders in Brooklyn, according to police.
The sneak thief first struck on the southbound platform of the Church Avenue subway station where he cut open the pocket of a sleeping 32-year-old man and stole his wallet at 5:30 a.m. on July 3, police said.
A half hour later, the pickpocket stole another wallet from a 21-year-old man sleeping in the Smith and Ninth Streets station, police said.

Police are now looking for a man in his late 20s who was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, white glasses, and a t-shirt and shorts both with a red rose print.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact police.
