Why Go: Two DJ's will spin, but only one will be permitted to stay. The judgment will be left to the assembled crowd, which will declare one DJ—and, by extension, genre—the victor based on how hard they dance. Let the blood sport begin!

Volunteer to Improve the G Train
When/Where: Saturday, Jan. 5 at 12 p.m. at Second Stop Cafe, located at 524 Lorimer St.
Why Go: The G train extension may be saved, but let's face it–the thing could still use some improvements. Join the Riders Alliance for a day of collecting signatures urging the MTA to increase G train frequency, create free transfers at some stations and improve communication with riders. Bonus: Lunch will be provided
