One World Project, a community center based in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, seeks a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Teaching Assistant to support its preschool serving children ages 2.6 to 4.8. The Bilingual Teaching Assistant will support our Lead Teacher in implementing our hands-on, play-based curriculum aimed at improving Spanish language skills, enhancing global awareness, and deepening environmental appreciation through stories, songs, dance, art, movement, and free and organized play.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Education.
Prior experience with 2, 3 and 4 year-old children
Commitment to experiential, play-based learning.
Ability to support dynamic curricula and activities.
Demonstrated success fostering a space for children to grow emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically.
Native Spanish speaker preferred.

Hours:
Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm except NYC Public School Holidays

School is located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn starting September 6

Full charge bookkeeper wanted. Ten year old company needs experienced person to untangle a patchwork of records from a makeshift accounting system, and reassemble it on Quickbooks. Company is rapidly growing. Also, to set up and maintain A/R & A/P, bank reconciliations, taxes, interface with accountant, financial reports as necessary.

Position is full time as needed until financial reconstruction is complete, then part time as needed to maintain. Potential to grow into full time. Hours, terms, can be flexible for the right local person.

Compensation structure open depending on experience, work schedule.
