Holy Name of Jesus Church Gears Up for Renovation

Holy Name of Jesus Church is preparing to undergo a massive renovation. The progress is being carefully documented on the church's Facebook page, and renderings of a few potential designs are already circulating. (We've posted them above.)

The renovation will be based around a James Renwick altar piece, acquired by Holy Name from the now-defunct St. Vincent De Paul in Williamsburg and currently shut away in storage.

But for now, the rest of the design hangs in the balance, contingent upon how much money the church is ultimately able to collect.
