Kensington Building Is One Of NYC's 'Hottest,' Study Finds
A new Kensington development was one of the top-selling buildings in New York City in the first half of 2019, a new analysis shows.

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — A condominium complex on a quiet Kensington block is one of New York's "hottest" buildings, a new real estate analysis shows.
The apartment complex at 264 Webster Ave. off Ocean Parkway was one of the 15 best-selling buildings in the first half of 2019, according to a Property Shark analysis released Wednesday.
The condo complex ranked 8th for sales, closing 37 deals in just six month at a median price of $614,000 per unit, according to Property Shark.

The real estate website credited the development's 15-year tax abatement program and a slew of building amenities — a pet spa, gym, and rooftop terrace with outdoor showers — for drawing New Yorkers to 264 Webster.
"264 Webster adds a distinctive new look to the Kensington area," wrote Property Shark analysist Iulian Tihai.

Developers from The Horizon Group and Kutnicki Bernstein Architects first filed plans in 2016 to build the 8-story, 63-unit complex and projected sales would total $38.6 million, according to city records and a RealDeal report.
Apartments come fitted with open-plan kitchens with oak cabinets and dishwashers, bathrooms with custom vanities and Carrara marble, and some come with private balconies.
"Kensington is the best-kept secret in New York City’s most beloved borough," the development website reads. "It is an inspiring and lively place to call home."
