Meet the Neighborhood's GO Artists

More than 20 artists from Windsor Terrace and Kensington will be competing to exhibit their work at the Brooklyn Museum. Meet them before they're famous.

Windsor Terrace and Kensington are teeming with local artists, and now is your chance to meet them.

Roughly 20 artists from around the neighborhood are participating in GO, that allows residents to vote on which work they'd like to see shown in a special December exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum.

On Sept. 8 and 9, registered voters will stop by participating artist's studios, applying the critic's eye to determine which pieces are worthy of the big leagues.

Voters must check-in online at a minimum of five studios before they are eligible to nominate artists.

The ten artists with the most voter nominations will receive visits from Brooklyn Museum curators, who will select work for the exhibition to open on Dec. 1.
