No Injuries Reported in Prospect Avenue Blaze

The fourth floor fire was extinguished roughly 30 minutes after it sparked.

A fire broke out in the fourth floor of a Prospect Avenue apartment building early Friday morning.

The blaze, which sparked at 389 Prospect Ave., was first reported around 12:40 a.m., and took a crew of 65 firefighters manning 12 units to knock down. It was successfully extinguished at 1:08 a.m.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
