Occupy Kensington to Meet on Sunday
The activist group will convene to discuss its plans for the future.

Occupy Kensington will host a meeting on Sunday to discuss the future of the group, as well as specific issues impacting the community.
The bulk of the meeting will focus on analyzing OK's accomplishments over the past several months, as well as consider goals for the months ahead. The battle against Golden Farm owner Sonny Kim to secure unpaid back-wages for some employees may be nearing a settlement, meaning the group will be able to focus its energy on other community issues, though worker's rights will remain at the center of OK discussion.Â
OK will also discuss the lack of open space in the neighborhood, including the embattled Kensington Plaza, which neighbors complained in December was a magnet for late night boisterous behavior thanks to several loiter-friendly benches. In spite of this, the Department of Transportation opted to leave the plaza intact.
