Occupy Kensington to Meet Thursday

Members will meet to discuss the Chicago teacher's strike and its impact locally.

Occupy Kensington will host a meeting on Thursday evening to discuss the teacher's strike in Chicago and its larger impact on public education.

Opening the discussion will be Tom Crean, a Brooklyn UFT Chapter Leader, Kensington resident and author of the pamphlet "Save Our Schools."

The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at 309 East 5th St. between Albemarle Road and Church Avenue.
