SUMMER: Play Lab Camp 2016
A play theory camp for kids in Brooklyn, NY August, 2016
Four mini camps for children ages 6 and up, led by art educator and play enthusiast, Priscilla Shen. During each workshop session, we will play, share, reflect, and experiment with ideas and materials. Learning will be self-propelled, self-motivated, and help us become more engaged in the creative process. We will discover the expressive and meaningful qualities of simple materials. We will be resourceful, and most importantly we will recycle. The final workshop will conclude with an exhibit or share of our work at the bodyLITERATE Incubator. Our 3-day mini camp will focus on a group installation and exhibit at the end. Our 2-day mini camp will allow individual and/or group exploration.
