Police Blotter: A Stolen Car, a Stolen Bike and a Stolen Inhaler

Reports from the 72nd Precinct.

The following information comes from police reports from the 72nd Precinct of the NYPD. It does not indicate a conviction.

Stolen Van

A 26-year-old man's rented 2011 Ford E350 Super Duty van was stolen from 11th Avenue near Prospect Park Southwest on Sept. 30. According to police, there is no record of the car being towed. The van has not been recovered.

Stolen Bicycle

A 14-year-old boy's Cannondale bicycle was stolen from a rack on Ocean Parkway near Prospect Expressway on Sept. 30. The rack itself was also damaged. There were no cameras in the area, and the bike has not been found.

Inhaler Stolen from Hospital

Police discovered stolen medication during a routine traffic stop on Oct. 3, when an officer pulled over a driver near the southwest corner of Park Circle and Ocean Parkway around 2:20 p.m.

During the stop, the officer noticed a brown bag in the car containing an Albutorol inhaler. Police soon discovered the medicine had been lifted from Maimonides Hospital.
