Snapped Hood Ornament
A dispute between a pedestrian and a driver on Jan. 10 resulted in the pedestrian snapping the hood ornament off of the driver's Jaguar.

The victim told police that the argument began around 8:10 a.m. as the pedestrian crossed the street from 8th Avenue at Windsor Place to Prospect Park West.
The pedestrian accused the driver of not properly yielding and the scuffle escalated, eventually culminating in the perp breaking the cat-shaped hood ornament off of the victim's silver 2006 Jaguar.

Stolen Tires, Rims
A man visiting from upstate New York told police on Jan. 6 that two sets of his car's tires and rims were stolen while it was parked on Ocean Parkway near Caton Place.
According to police, the victim parked his 2009 Honda Sedan on Ocean Parkway around 12:30 a.m. When he returned at 8 a.m., two of the vehicle's Dunlop tires and Honda factory rims were gone, totalling a loss of roughly $700.
Hit and Run
It has not been a good week for visitors from upstate.
A Peekskill man told police on Jan. 11 that a car with Maryland plates fled the scene after rear-ending his 2002 Dodge Caravan near the northeast corner of Fort Hamilton Parkway and East 5th Street.
The victim did not suffer from any injuries.
