Police Blotter: Cash, Pills Filched from Windsor Terrace Car

Cash, Pills Lifted from WT Car

A Windsor Terrace woman's car was broken into and several items were stolen near the corner of Coney Island Avenue and Kermit Place on Dec. 3.

The victim, 32, told police that she returned to her car to find that the passenger side window had been smashed, and that missing from the inside were $600 in cash, a Timex watch, a Coach purse, prescription pills and her drivers license. 

No arrests have been made.

Hit and Run

A kindly Manhattanite called the police after watching a car with Connecticut plates back into another vehicle and proceed to leave the scene.

The incident took place on Dec. 3 near Seeley Street near McDonald Avenue. The witness told police that he saw the car back into the victim's Chrysler, causing considerable damage, before fleeing the scene without exchanging information with the victim or calling the police.

The 44-year-old victim was reportedly asleep in her Windsor Terrace home when the accident occurred. No injuries were reported.
