Police Blotter: Freightliner Stolen from McDonald Avenue

GPS Theft
A Windsor Terrace woman told police on Nov. 2 that the driver's side window of her car, parked near Ocean Parkway and Caton Place, had been smashed and the GPS she'd stowed under a seat was taken.Â

There were no cameras present in the area and no arrests have been made.Â
Punctured Gas Tank

A 71-year-old Staten Island man returned to his car on Terrace Place near 18th Street on Nov. 2 to find that someone had punctured his gas tank with an unknown object.Â
There were no cameras present in the area.Â
Stolen Car
A 50-year-old Windsor Terrace man told police that his car, a green 1999 Plymouth Voyager, was stolen from in front of his house on 17th Street near 11th Avenue on Nov. 7.Â
There was no broken glass found at the scene, and police have found no records of the car being towed.Â
Hit and Run
An Access-A-Ride vehicle reportedly smacked into a Windsor Terrace man's parked car on Nov. 8 before fleeing the scene.Â
The victim, a 60-year-old Windsor Terrace resident, told police he was parked on the northeast corner of 16th Street and Prospect Park West when he was sideswiped by the Access-A-Ride vehicle, damaging the driver's side mirror. The driver then allegedly fled without stopping.Â
No injuries were reported.Â
Stolen Trailer
A 23-year-old driver for Uzst Transportation Inc. called police on Nov. 9 after finding that his 2007 freightliner truck and trailer had been taken from 35 McDonald Ave.
Police found broken glass at the scene.Â
