Car Battery Theft
A 41-year-old Windsor Terrace man called police on Thursday after realizing that someone had removed the battery from his 1996 Honda sedan, which was parked near the corner of Terrace Place and Prospect Avenue.Â

There were no cameras present in the area.
Two Smashed Car Windows

In possibly related incidents, two car windows were left smashed on 19th Street between Thursday night and Friday morning, police say.Â
The first report came from a 39-year-old Windsor Terrace man, who told police that someone had smashed the back window of his 2008 Ford Fusion.
According to police, the victim parked the car near his home on 19th Street near Terrace Place around 6 p.m. on Thursday. When he went to retrieve it around 10 a.m. on Friday, the window had been broken.
In a similar incident, another victim left her car parked on 19th Street near 8th Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, returning at 10:45 a.m. the following day to find the driver's side rear window had been broken.
Neither victim reported any property missing.
