Police Search for Lottery Ticket Scammers
A man and a woman allegedly swindled a woman out of 10,000 euros.

Police in the 72nd Precinct are searching for two suspects accused of using a fake winning lottery ticket to scam a 65-year-old woman on July 30. Â
According to police, the suspects—a man and a woman—told the victim that they had a winning ticket, convincing her to hand over 10,000 euros in exchange for the apparently worthless ticket.
10,000 euros is equivalent to $12,322.Â

The male suspect is described as a 50-year-old Hispanic man with dark hair and eyes. He stands roughly 5-foot-10 and weighs around 200 pounds.
The female suspect is described as an Indian woman in her 50s, around 5-foot-2 and 120 pounds. She has dark hair and eyes.Â
