Police Search for South Slope Armed Robbers

Police in the 72nd Precinct are asking for the public's help locating two suspects connected with the armed robbery of a South Slope scrap metal merchant.

According to police, the suspects entered the premises at 19th Street near the Gowanus Expressway on Thursday around 3:34 p.m. One suspect allegedly produced a firearm, ordered the employees into the office and fled with an unknown amount of money in a dark-colored vehicle.
