NYPD Hunts for Sunset Park Robbery Suspect
The suspect demanded money, but fled without receiving it, police said.

Police in the 72nd Precinct are searching for a man who attempted to rob a Sunset Park bank in July.Â
Around 5:30 p.m. on July 17, the suspect entered a Chase Bank branch at 5101 4th Ave. and passed a note to the teller demanding money, police said. He fled on foot in an unknown direction without receiving any cash.Â
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-50s, weighing roughly 200 pounds and with a white and gray beard. He was wearing a black McDonald's cap, a green t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. Â
