In addition to changing pick-up days for the area, the NYC Department of Sanitation will be moving four recycling trucks from the day shift to the night shift, as well as putting several additional recycling and trash trucks on the roads.

The mayor’s office said the move will mean that 79 percent fewer trash and recycling trucks will operate in the impacted area during morning commutes.
