Teens Targeted In Prospect Park Daylight Muggings, Cops Say
Police are looking for five men who have robbed three teens in Prospect Park over the past two weeks.

PROSPECT PARK, BROOKLYN — A gang of muggers is targeting teenaged boys in broad daylight in Prospect Park, according to the NYPD.
Five men are wanted for stealing thousands of dollars worth of technology from three teens in daylight muggings across Prospect Park over the past two weeks, police said.
The group struck last on Thursday, when they stole a 17-year-old's backpack — stuffed with an iPhone 8, a $4,000 Apple MacBook Pro and a $100 OontZ speaker — shortly after 5 p.m., police said.

The five men became violent with their second victim, a 13-year-old boy, whom they punched in the face and robbed of his iPhone 7 near West Drive and Prospect Park Lake at about 3:35 p.m. Saturday, April 27, according to police.
Their known first heist occurred on April 25 at about 6:30 p.m., when the five men stole $8 from a 16-year-old boy, also near West Drive and Prospect Park Lake, said police.

Police released a photo of one suspect over the weekend and asked anyone with information about these robberies to contact the NYPD.
