Tell Brad Lander How to Spend $1 Million
Brainstorming for this year's participatory budgeting will be held in Windsor Terrace on Thursday.

What changes would you like to see come to the neighborhood? More trees? Less potholes? Improved traffic signals?
If you've got an idea, come on down to P.S. 154 on Thursday evening, where Councilman Brad Lander, D-Park Slope, will be waiting to hear your ideas on how to spend $1 million in participatory budgeting funds to help improve District 39, which includes Windsor Terrace and Kensington.Â
Last year, 2,213 votes were cast for a total of $1,040,000 worth of projects. As a result, P.S. 124  got renovated bathrooms,  P.S. 154 and P.S. 130 were wired with high tech classrooms, crossing the Prospect Expressway was made safer with improved pedestrian signals, and more.
