We've documented the shuttered businesses of and —Now, our research takes us down McDonald Avenue, the westernmost border of Kensington. 

We started at Fort Hamilton Parkway and picked our way down to Foster Avenue, where furniture stores and autobody shops reign supreme. 

Regardless of the street's industrial nature, there are still a few vacant storefronts just waiting for someone to come in and open a new organic juice cafe or tapas joint.
