Why Go: Einstein on the Beach, An Opera in Four Acts is part of the 30th Next Wave Festival at BAM. An unusual opera by Robert Wilson and Philip Glass, Einstein has no hero to speak of, but offers chillingly creative music that morphs time.Â

Why Go: The  is presenting . Brooklyn Art Song Society (BASS) is proud to announce its 2012-2013 season opener- part one of its four-part series Schubert: The Last Year.  The program features three masterful piano four-hand works alongside some of the composer’s most beloved lieder. From charming songs like Die Sterne to the dramatic and monumental Fantasy in f minor, this concert displays the amazing emotional range of Schubert’s music.

Why Go: Described on the event's website as "nature's most versatile vegetable," spend your Sunday devouring 12 types of corn dishes, testing your chops in a cornhole tournament and posing for, yes, corny photos.Â
