WINDSOR TERRACE, BROOKLYN — A standalone Victorian house that was once called "the most charming home in Windsor Terrace" has gone up for sale for an asking price of under $2 million.

The house at 211 Vanderbilt Street, between East Third and East Second streets, was built around 1860 and still stands detached with two apartment buildings on either side of it.

The Brooklyn Eagle recently called it the "Neighborhood's Most Charming House" in a piece about the best things in Windsor Terrace.

Listing agent Marie Parker is touting that designation in advertisements for the home.

"Stand out from the crowd in this remarkable, detached 2-family three story Victorian townhome," the listing reads. "Dubbed The neighborhoods most charming house by the Brooklyn Eagle, this circa 1860 head turner has been thoughtfully renovated and maintains much of its original charm and unique character."
