You Can Pick Which Windsor Terrace Project Gets City Funding

It's up to you to decide whether the Participatory Budget funds a new soccer field or better sinks and cabinets for local kindergarteners.

WINDSOR TERRACE, BROOKLYN — The city wants to know what you would do for your neighborhood if you had a million bucks and no, you can’t buy yourself a yacht.

New York City Council will be doling out $1 million in this year's round of participatory budgeting, when locals get to vote on what neighborhood projects should get city funding.

Windsor Terrace and Kensington residents will have one whole week — from April 7 to April 15 — to vote on which capital projects the neighborhood needs most, but it cannot be done online, according to City Council's announcement. Voters are going to have to trek out to one of seven spots in the area to cast their ballots.
