North Carolina Amber Alert Canceled For 12-Year-Old Boy
Mount Airy police had said they were searching for a boy in Mount Airy. The Amber Alert was canceled Sunday afternoon.

MOUNT AIRY, NC — An Amber Alert has been canceled after police in Mount Airy frantically searched for a 12-year-old boy who was thought to have been abducted. Anthony Manuel Diaz went missing from the 900 block of Willow Street, the Winston-Salem Journal reported, prompting the alert.
But around 3 p.m. Sunday, the alert was canceled. Authorities didn't immediately release any details on how the boy was found.
Mount Airy is about 35 miles northwest of Winston-Salem near the Virginia border.
