2 Of US’s Most Affordable Vacation Destinations Are In NC
North Carolina has two of the most affordable vacation destinations in the U.S., according to new rankings.

NORTH CAROLINA — Nags Head is one of the most affordable vacation destinations in the United States, according to new rankings from U.S. News & World Report. The publication released a list of the best vacation destinations in the country this week and the Outer Banks town wasn’t the only North Carolina destination on the list.
Along with Nags Head, U.S. News named Raleigh one of the most affordable places to visit in the U.S. Nags Head is ranked No. 14 and Raleigh ranked No. 18 on the list.
“Spending time in the sun is the main reason to make the trip to Nags Head, part of the Outer Banks region of North Carolina,” U.S. News says. “In addition to lounging on the sand, visitors can explore Nags Head's piers and lighthouses. Fall and spring are the best seasons to visit, thanks to fewer crowds and lower prices for accommodations.”.

Raleigh is intellectual, cool and aesthetically pleasing, according to the magazine. “You can take advantage of free admission at most museums in North Carolina's capital as well as access to public green spaces such as Pullen Park and the Neuse River Trail.
