Thursday, October 15th, 2020, 2:00-5:00pm Henderson Properties Corporate Office

Partnered organizations will work together with Volunteers to provide no-contact food and supply delivery to 100 at-risk Veterans and their families in Charlotte, NC. Cleaning supplies, food and gift cards will be packaged as part of The Independence Fund’s Independence@Home program, in partnership with Henderson Properties.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Veterans have been drastically impacted. The Independence Fund launched Independence@Home, an emergency program to directly support its Veterans, Caregivers and families with a range of emergent COVID-19 costs, including food and cleaning supplies. This partnership to provide care packages to Veterans is one of several similar collaborative events happening across the country.
