Charlotte Students Donate to The Salvation Army Center of Hope

Students donated hats, sunscreen and sunglasses to local women and children in need

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on Mallard Creek Road in Charlotte recently donated sun safety items to The Salvation Army Center of Hope Shelter. During the month of June, students collected seven boxes’ worth of items, including hats, sunscreen and sunglasses, to donate to women and children in need. The Salvation Army Center of Hope Shelter provides basic needs, health care and intervention programs to homeless women and children in Charlotte. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping children in need in their community.
