Job Description

The arts and culture officer is a full-time, three-year position that will shape the future of arts and culture in the Charlotte community. This position will report directly to the city manager and will be the city’s liaison to an Arts and Culture Advisory Board. The officer will be charged with developing and establishing the implementation infrastructure for a Cultural Plan for Charlotte that fulfills the goal of building a framework for a sustainable and thriving creative community from emerging artists to established, legacy institutions.　 This will require incorporating feedback and insights from a diverse set of perspectives across the cultural landscape in Charlotte.
