CMS' Class of 2021 Rakes In $122 Million In Scholarships
This year's Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools graduating class brought in $122.4 million in scholarships. Here's a list of the top schools.
CHARLOTTE, NC β Class of 2021 seniors in the Charlotte metro have been awarded more than 2,500 college scholarships totaling $122.4 million, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools said Monday.
All total, 2,548 scholarships were awarded to Class of 2021 students. The reported award level was down more than $31 million from the previous year, according to CMS data. In 2020, the school district reported seniors earned nearly $154 million in scholarships.
Of the 2021 amount, nearly $104 million were for academics about nearly $19 million were athletic scholarships.

- Providence High β $13.2 million
- William Amos Hough High β $12.2 million
- Vance High School β $11.8 million
- Mallard Creek High β $8.4 million
- South Mecklenburg High β $7.8 million
- North Mecklenburg High β $7.3 million
