Gaston County Police Ask Public For Tips To ID Shoplifters

The two individuals stole items Saturday from a Gastonia store and then drove away, say police.

GASTONIA, NC β€” The Gaston County Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a pair of shoplifters who hit a Gastonia store on Saturday evening. The department released a surveillance photo of the two unidentified individuals, who are described as white males.

The thefts occurred at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday at a store on Hickory Grove Road, the police said. The two left the store in a 1998 gray four-door Honda driven by a white female.

The woman has been identified, but the police said they are still trying to identify the two white males. Anyone with information about the two individuals is asked to contact Officer M. McPherson at 704-866-3320 or Crime Stoppers of Gaston County at 704-861-8000.
