Goldfish Swim School Offers Free Swim At New Charlotte Location

CHARLOTTE, NC — While summer may be drawing to a close for kids in North Carolina, a new school in Charlotte is looking forward to keeping students in the water. Goldfish Swim School, which recently opened a new 11,000-square-foot facility in southwest Charlotte, is offering a free family swim Saturday as part of its community grand opening.

Goldfish Swim School, which operates two additional North Carolina locations, offers swim lessons and water safety instruction for children ranging from 4 months to 12 years old.

The grand opening event on Saturday, Aug. 18 is at the new Charlotte location at 13403 South Ridge Drive, and runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event includes a family swim, activities for kids, raffles, snacks and more, the school said.

Goldfish Swim School Charlotte provides swim instruction to children ages 4 months to 12 years-old in a unique setting with highly trained instructors, small class sizes (max 4:1 student to teacher ratio), shiver-free 90-degree pools, and a state-of-the-art water purification system. Families with kids of different ages and skill levels can conveniently have all of their swimmers in the pool during the same half hour time slot and schedule makeup classes when necessary. Goldfish offers perpetual lessons and families can enroll at any time.

In addition to swim lessons, Goldfish Swim School offers weekly family swims (for both members and non-members) and party packages. Facility highlights include an air conditioned viewing gallery for parents to watch lessons, a spacious family dressing area with private changing rooms, snack bar, retail shop and warm, tropical décor.
