Low-Cost Spirit Airlines Launching Service Out Of Charlotte

Spirit will begin flying to Baltimore, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and Newark starting June 20, it announced Tuesday.

CHARLOTTE, NC β€” Air travelers in the Charlotte-metro region have a new budget carrier option to look forward to this summer. Spirit Airlines will begin service to four locations out of Charlotte Douglas International Airport June 20, the company announced Tuesday.

The move to Charlotte marks the fourth North Carolina market for the carrier, it said.

  • Charlotte to Ft. Lauderdale β€” from $99
  • Charlotte to New York/Newark β€” from $79
  • Charlotte to Orlando β€” from $99
  • Charlotte to Baltimore β€” from $94
