Massive Delays As I-85 Closed In Both Directions In Charlotte
Lanes of Interstate 85 closed in both directions Wednesday afternoon due to police activity.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Traffic came to a halt along Interstate 85 in Charlotte in both directions Wednesday afternoon.
The lane closures at I-85 and W.T. Harris Boulevard, mile marker 45, were due to “police activity,” according to North Carolina Department of Transportation.
