CHARLOTTE, NC — A multi-car crash in northwest Charlotte sent five people to area hospitals, one with life threatening injuries, according to reports.

The crash occurred on Mt. Holly Road near Winding Canyon Drive around 8 a.m., Fox46 reported. According to the station, police have not released details about what caused it.
