Section Of I-485 Closed After Crash Claims Life: Report
One person is dead after a midday accident on the outer loop of Interstate 485 near Providence Road, according to reports.
CHARLOTTE, NC — A person is dead following a midday accident on the outer loop of Interstate 485 near Providence Road, according to reports.
First responders on the scene included Charlotte Fire Department and Matthews Fire Department, along with medic units, CFD said. Drivers are warned to avoid the area after lanes were shut down.
Traffic was diverted up the exit ramp at Providence Road, WSOC said.
