Severe Weather Expected This Week In Charlotte Metro: Forecast

CHARLOTTE, NC — Severe weather expected in Mecklenburg County later this week could lead to possible damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado, the National Weather Service said Monday.

The hazardous weather outlook includes the North Carolina mountains and area throughout the Charlotte metro region.

Rain is expected throughout the week, beginning Monday evening, according to NWS. By Friday, however, sunshine will return to usher in a weekend with partly sunny skies and highs in the high 50s.
