Missing 61-Year-Old Man Located, Silver Alert Canceled: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, NC —A silver alert for a 61-year-old man with cognitive issues who was reported missing Wednesday evening was canceled Thursday after he was located, according to police.

Earlier Thursday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department asked for the public's help locating Barry Dale Mason, who was last seen June 16 around 7 p.m. at the Circle K gas station located at 507 Old Little Rock Road.

By Thursday afternoon, he was found.

"Barry Mason has been located and is being reunited with his family," CMPD said.
