Missing 65-Year-Old Man Located, Reunited With Family: CMPD

Hugo Pineda, 65, was reported missing Tuesday. He was located Wednesday and reunited with his family, police said.

CHARLOTTE, NC β€” A missing 65-year-old Charlotte man who suffers from cognitive concerns was located and reunited with his family, Charlotte police said Wednesday night.

A "silver alert" was issued for Hugo Pineda, who was last seen around 2 a.m. Tuesday near the 2200 block of Yorkhills Drive off South Tryon Street. He was reported missing shortly before 7 p.m. that same day.

"Mr. Pineda is believed to be driving a black 2012 Honda Civic (NC tag# THP-3253). Mr. Pineda’s clothing description is unknown at this time," Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said in a statement.

He is described as 5-foot, 5-inches tall and about 150 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.
