Southwest Airlines Offers Cheap Flights From Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC — If you want to spend the fall and winter somewhere else, now is the perfect time to book a flight and save some serious coin in a Southwest airlines sale that offers one-way fares as low as $49. But you’ll have to book fares from Charlotte Douglas International Airport soon. The sale ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, Sept. 12.

The following are examples of some of the cheap flights are being offered by the airline out of Charlotte:

• Charlotte to Albuquerque, New Mexico: $149
• Charlotte to Burbank, Califirnia: $159
• Charlotte to Cancun, Mexico: $203
• Charlotte to Chicago: $141
• Charlotte to Los Angeles: $180
• Charlotte to New Orleans: $164
• Charlotte to New York (LaGuardia): $140
• Charlotte to Orlando: $159
• Charlotte to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic: $239
• Charlotte to San Jose, California: $169
• Charlotte to SAn Juan, Puerto Rico: $192

The low fares apply to continental U.S. travel from Sept. 24 to March 4, 2020, in most areas. Exceptions are John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California, where travel must be completed from Jan. 7–March 4, 2020; inter-island travel in Hawaii; and travel to and from Puerto Rico. Fares do not apply to continental U.S. travel to and from the Hawaiian Islands.

International flights must be taken from Sept. 24–Dec. 11, or from Jan. 7–March, 2020.

Some dates have been blacked out for continental U.S. travel around the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
