'The Wizard Of Oz' Coming To Charlotte Metro Movie Theaters

CHARLOTTE, NC — To celebrate the 80th anniversary of "The Wizard of Oz," the classic movie will be playing at select theaters nationwide, including theaters in Charlotte, Concord and Salisbury. "The Wizard of Oz" was first released in 1939, and Turner Classic Movies is re-releasing it to theaters for a limited time.

Here’s where "The Wizard of Oz" will show in the Charlotte-metro area on Tuesday, Jan. 29:

• 7 p.m., AMC Concord Mills 24, 8421 Concord Mills Boulevard, Concord, NC
• 7 p.m., Regal Stonecrest at Piper Glen 22, 7824 Rea Road, Charlotte
